Waterous, the leader in fire pump technology and innovation introduces the ACCESS™ Pump Module. While most modules have a removable right side panel and hinged operator’s gauge panel for common access to the pump and pump components, the ACCESS™ Pump Module takes accessibility to another level.
Features of the ACCESS™ PUMP MODULE
ACCESS™ PUMP MODULE with TILT CAB
- Simplifies apparatus maintenance by increasing accessibility to the pump and other components
- Access through the front wall access cover
- Access through the removable side access panels with optional hinged panels available
- Access from the bottom side of the module
- Access from top side of the module. An extra heavy duty stainless steel hinge allows the upper third of the module to be open forward when the apparatus cab is raised). This feature allows full access to the pump and accessories from the top side of the pump module.
- Dunnage area can hold up to 1500 lbs more than enought to accomodate a hydraulic generators with remote mounted oil reservoirs
- Ability to raise the module without unloading dunnage area and without uncoupling or unloading crosslays. Faster, easier and safer than removing stored items and the metal decking commonly found in most dunnage areas.
- Waterous foam systems can be mounted on an optional swing out mounting bracket. This feature allows the technician to perform maintenance to the foam system from a standing position from the exterior of the module saving time and increasing safety.
- An optional deck gun feature is also available using a vertical sleeved deluge cavity for centerline or left side mounted deck gun installation.
ACCESS™ PUMP MODULE without TILT CAB
- Simplifies apparatus maintenance by increasing accessibility to the pump and other critical fire apparatus components:
- Access through the removable side access panels with optional hinged panels available
- Access from the bottom side of the module
- Access from the top side of the module. An extra heavy duty stainless steel hinge on the left or right frame cross beam of the module allows the upper third of the module to be opened and accessed from the opposing side of the module. For apparatus with ladder racks, the right hinge is desired so the module can be raised when the ladder rack is lowered.
An optional deck gun feature is also available using a vertical sleeved deluge cavity on the side opposite of the hinge for mounting the deck gun |
