CSC20 Endurance Single-Stage, Vehicle Mounted Fire Pump.

The fully-manifolded Endurance CSC20 single stage fire pump (Available in the CS or CSU set-up) is 16% lighter than its predecessor. Additionally, this vehicle mounted pump features a smaller footprint that doesn’t sacrifice power, performance or utility, to meet the ever-increasing demands for space on a firefighting apparatus.

The CSC20 comes equipped with the new, exclusive to Waterous, C20 transmission. It’s revolutionary in every way. The C20 weighs in a full 40 pounds lighter than the C10 version. Plus the C20 does what no other transmission can. When used in conjunction with the MY09 software and wiring package, the C20 offers a true neutral position for improved pump shifting. What’s more, or less in this case, the C20 uses fewer parts and requires only 9-quarts of oil.

Flow Specifications:

CS – 500 GPM to 1,250 GPM (1900 l/min to 4750 l/min) @ 150 PSI (10 bar)

CSU – 1,500 GPM to 2,250 GPM (5570 l/min to 8550 l/min) @ 150 PSI (10 bar)

Specifications
  • High-tensile gray iron (bronze optional) two-piece, horizontally-split pump casing.
  • Bronze precision-balanced impeller (flame-plated hub optional).
  • Adjustable braided flexible graphite (BFG) packing is standard; self-adjusting, spring-loaded mechanical seals optional.
  • Two-piece, stainless steel, heat treated, machined and ground impeller shaft allows separation of the pump from the transmission for ease of service.
  • Flinger rings are mounted on the impeller to keep debris out of bearings.
  • Oil-splash lubricated, deep-groove ball bearings located outside the pump casing.
  • Lip-type oil seal for lubrication and extra bearing protection from the elements.
  • Bronze, reverse-flow, replaceable wear rings to increase pump life and minimize maintenance costs.

Options and Accessories
  • Priming System: An electric, oil-free rotary vane primer mounted directly on a Waterous split-shaft pump transmission or separately mounted combined with a Waterous priming valve forms the priming system. A lubrication option allows the use of Prime-Safe lubricant (priming tank is required when the lubrication option is selected).
  • Pressure Control System: The Waterous Intake Relief Valve system is designed to act as a safety valve by "dumping" excess pressure from the inlet side of the pump. The Discharge Relief Valve provides sensitive pump control to protect firefighters from sudden pressure surges resulting from changes in discharge flows from the pump.
  • Manifold Drain Valve: Drains all points of the pump simultaneously with the operation of a single control.
  • Corrosion Protection: Replaceable zinc element that is installed directly on the pump intake piping and into the pump waterway. These anodes sacrifice the zinc element to galvanic corrosion.
  • Discharge Valves: Your choice of the trusted Waterous 1⁄4 turn 2.5 inch and 3.5 inch rack and sector push-pull, worm gear and electric discharge valves. All come standard with chrome-plated brass ball and hydraulically balanced seal assembly.
  • Overheat Protection Manager: The OPM consists of an illuminated warning light on the operator's panel whenever the pump approaches an overheat condition. Optional audible alarm is available.
  • Foam Manager: Consisting of a 500 or 1000 GPM foam manifold and foam proportioner.
  • Tank to Pump Valve: A full-flow 3.5-inch diameter ball valve, which is attached directly to the pump.
  • Tachometer: Tachometer drive standard and operates at 1/2 input shaft speed.
  • Extra Pressure Stage: The Waterous extra-pressure stage provides more pressure when you need it with the use of a single control.
  • Power Shift: Pneumatic shift allows operator to shift from ROAD to PUMP position by actuating a valve
  • Total Protection Package (TPP-5): The Total Protection Package is a comprehensive warranty that increases your standard warranty to include labor expenses to dismantle, remove and reinstall covered products or parts.
