Waterous unveils powerful CRU Hi-FLOW pump
Performance capacities up to 3500 GPM for ARFF, municipal and industrial

South St. Paul, Minn., April 22, 2012

Waterous’ new CRU-HiFlow pump packs power. Revealed at the 2012 FDIC exhibition and training conference in Indianapolis, Ind., the new high capacity pump is designed to fight fires on a variety of aircraft vehicles as well as industrial and municipal applications.

“The CRU Hi-FLOW operates at speeds significantly slower than comparable pumps, and when pushed to its limit, does not lose flow performance or throwing distance,” said Waterous Director of Sales and Marketing, Steve Toren.

Capable of flowing large amounts of water per minute, the CRU Hi-FLOW is ideally suited for municipal purposes and industrial applications such as providing nuclear power plants with emergency cooling.

Performance specifications:

  • Up to 3500 GPM (13000 l/m)
  • 8″ ANSI flange intake
  • Less engine RPM required compared to competitive pumps
  • 5″ Victaulic® discharge performance
